In tandem with Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR), Brumos Porsche will present the Daytona Historic Races at Daytona International Speedway November 14-17, 2013. No team has a closer connection to the 24 Hours of Daytona than Brumos Racing, located in nearby Jacksonville, Florida. Brumos Racing first competed at Daytona in 1971, and continues racing there in 2013. Team driver
Hurley Haywood has won the 24 Hours five times outright, with four of those victories taken in a Porsche 911 or a derivative. Haywood will be joined by another legendary Porsche driver, three-time Daytona winner Brian Redman, who won twice in Porsches—a 917 in 1970 and a 935 in 1981. The event will mark the 50th anniversary of the 911 with a Brumos Cup race for early 911s and the Mission Foods GT3 Cup for later models. Also planned are sprint races, enduros and night races—including the Bob Snodgrass Two-Hour Enduro—as well as a 911 Concours and a 911 Car Corral. For more information visit www.hsrrace.com
